We’ve moved to 2727 S. 12th Street
After eight wonderful years at 1535 S. 8th Street we have moved one mile away to a larger space next to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery at 2727 S. 12th Street, South Soulard.
We share an entrance with our sister store, Antagonist Cafe.
FAQs:
What does the new location look like? The new building is an art deco masterpiece built in 1937 by the same architect who designed the Soulard Farmer's Market. It served as a police station and EMS hub until the 1990s when it was sold to a private owner who utilized it, in part, as an art gallery and wedding venue for nearly three decades. Because the building once served as a police station, four rehabbed holding cells (which we call vaults) have been renovating into comfortable unique gaming spaces. The vaults can be pre-reserved. Pieces will share an entrance with it's sister store, Antagonist Cafe.
What's the parking like? Unlike our first location, we are now have FREE street parking. NO meters. There is a lot across the street owned by Anheuser-Busch, but they won’t let us rent it even though it’s always empty :(
Will you have private rooms? Yes! Fill out the private room contact form on this website and our special events manager will email you back within two days of receipt!
Besides for the location, is anything major changing? Instead of a $5 library fee to access the game library, we will be reducing the fee to a flat $2.50 per person. Most board game bars throughout the country charge $7 per person to game, but we wanted to keep the experience affordable! Other than that, you'll find the same great Pieces at a new location!!
